I never get tired of photographing winter landscapes. Days with frost-clear weather and sunshine have become rare, so it’s important to take advantage of the opportunity when it arises. That happened in mid-February 2025, when these pictures were taken.
Winter photography presents challenges that make the process even more satisfying. The bite of the cold in my fingers, the camera’s battery quickly draining, and the constant search for the perfect light all require patience and perseverance. But it is precisely these challenges that make the reward greater when I finally capture the moment where everything falls into place.
