People cannot remain still for long periods. We are always on the move, either physically or mentally. The global pandemic forced us to pause and put mobility on hold for a while. Now, the pulse of everyday life is back in full force. The cities have awakened.
Mobility is a crucial part of modern life, enabling us to commute to work, access goods and services, and connect with others. Mobility also keep us healthy and fit as we pursue physical activity.
However, mobility has a downside. Our need to get around has social, economic and environmental consequences, such as congestion, air pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions.
