In one of Copenhagen’s dull industrial zones lies a bright spot for many Copenhageners, the Copenhagen Cable Park (CCP). Here, you can wakeboard and enjoy other types of boards sports in the harbor.
It is the month of July. Kasper (28) and his friend Otto (22) are working hard to save up for their dreams. For seven years, they have been colleagues at CCP. Their day often start out with a closed training session, where they enjoy themselves on the water. At this time they have the cable park all to themselves. Soon after, it will be open to the public.
During off-season they travel the world in search of great surf spots. Both seek the adventure, and with a summer savings of about $8000 they can manage for many months in Indonesia or Mexico searching for waves.
